UPDATE South West Head Of The River - Cancelled
Following a review of the latest weather forecasts, we have made the decision to cancel this weekend’s South West Head of the River.
Forecast conditions indicate strengthening winds throughout Saturday, particularly into the afternoon. Given the combination of on-water safety considerations and the travel requirements for visiting schools and clubs (particularly those towing trailers) we do not believe it is responsible to proceed with the event.
We appreciate the time and effort that has gone into preparing for the regatta, and we are disappointed not to be able to deliver the opportunity to race this weekend.
