Well the ladies are back after their road trip to Perth and their ready to get the 2nd half of the season underway.
All games are on this Saturday with the 2s women up first at 3pm v Boyup Brook. With the ladies two points behind leaders Exies and on par with 3rd placed Marist, a win here will be crucial.
Up next, next door on turf 1, at 315pm the League women will be playing Towns and the ladies will be looking to stretch their lead on the ladder.
Finally, our 3s women play Associates/Donnybrook at 445pm on turf1. The ladies are currently second and a win here will be very heandy with just 7 rounds remaining.
Good luck ladies.
And not forgetting the Masters are back Monday night at 710pm when they play Exies. Enjoy all and good luck to those players and coaches taking part in Men's Country Week in Perth.

A good afternoon for the Club. While the ladies are either playing at Country Week or having the weekend off, the men got to strut their stuff.
Our 2s Men were up first, taking on Towns. Drew Coleman the goal scorer in their 1-1 draw, while Corey Gibbs gets more BOG points, followed by Riley O'Rourke and goalkeeper Alex Warbuton.
In the Phil-Wayne Tribute match at 1.30pm the lads got up 2-0 over Harvey, with Brian Green and Kevin Crowe scoring the goals. Best on ground was of course Wayne Pelusey, followed by Wayne Pelusey and Wayne Pelusey getting the point, sorry Phil, but Wayne always get the point! Or Jono, Beats and Fennie if u want to get technical!
The League men finished off the day with a very comprehensive 9-1 win over Towns. Sauce got 4 and also the tackle of the day, Lochie got a hattie, smiles all round, Jasper and Harry one each. Best on ground for his world cup winning header was Sean Cowan, Sauce and Lochie in the points as well.

Have a good look at this picture, apart from the two oldies in the back row, everyone else is why our Club’s future is looking very good. A massive thanks to the two oldies, Anita and Lawrie and their off field teams for looking after our 9-12s each Wednesday night. Looking forward to looking back at this photo in a couple of seasons time.

Our second milestone game this week and it's a definite biggie. He's probably got his name on more trophies than most, has been an intergral Club member being a player for nearly 40 years, coach and on the Executive at times throughout his career, it's a massive weekend for Club legend Wayne Pelusey who will play his 600th Senior Club game this Saturday at 130pm versus Harvey. From all of us at Boyanup Hockey Club, we wish Wayne all the very best for a cracker game and congratulations on your outstanding achievement. Great effort Peluse!

Two BIG milestone games this week and here's our first. He's been playing for the Club for a long long time and is an intergral part of our 3s men's team. This Saturday Phil Newman will run out for is 350th match when the lads play Harvey on turf 2 at 130pm. Great effort Phil and from all of us at Boyanup Hockey, congrats on a stella career and great to have you as a part of our fabulous Club. Have a great game Phil.
