42 players today for Thursday disc in bowls. Preston Cain and Gary Coward one the day with 2 plus 30. Second were Geoff Little and Muck Dellabosca on 2 plus 26. Third went to Sandro Calligaro and Garry Baker on 2 plus 21. Colin Bartlett and Claude English managed 4th with 2 plus 18 despite Colin playing with a borrowed arm because someone has taken Colins arm from the licker room. Bill Cream and Glenn Miller were fifth with 2 plus 15. Second Game winners were Vern Humble and Paul Bartholomew on +11

Today the club hosted two groups
The State Youth Games Churches of Christ Sports and Rec eighty four people,
They were lucky to get their bowls in with the weather setting in.
Our second group of two hundred people from Whitford Hockey Club Juniors
Unfortunately only got a couple games before the rain came.
They did enjoy a great meal from Sylv’s Kitchen followed by their presentation and awards night.
Thanks to our members, Mick Delfs, Ray Batt, Jonny George, Lyn McLean, Bob Wallace, Garry Crowd, Lloyd Rolfe for their help on the day.
Everyone enjoyed the day looking forward to next year
