City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club Making waves, saving lives. Committed to beach safety, fun, friendship and a lifelong love of the ocean.

The City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club is an inclusive and welcoming community where people of all ages can learn, volunteer, compete and connect. The City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club was founded in 1915 and was the second club to be established in Western Australia. Cottesloe SLSC was the first West Australian Surf Life Saving Club to be formed in 1909. Since those early days members have volunteered countless hours of Surf Patrol duty to keep Bunbury’s beaches safe for swimmers and surfers. Members have performed numerous rescues and attended to thousand of major and minor first aid incidents, and to this day continue to enjoy the rich culture and proud tradition of the surf life saving movement. The City of Bunbury SLSC is one of 304 Surf Life Saving Clubs in Australia with a total membership of over 113,000 members. We are affiliated with Surf Life Saving Western Australia (SLSWA).

📍 Bronze Medallion & Surf Rescue Certificate — Intensive
Tuesday 29 September – Friday 2 October
8:00am – 1:00pm
Please note:
• You must be available to attend all sessions.
• Pay for the course by 22 September to allow time to complete your online module and timed swim. Payment MUST be made in your Member Hub.
• SRC Assessment: Friday 2 October
• BM Assessment: Saturday 3 October
