Aged 67 years.

Dearly loved husband of Nerida.

Earlier this week I met with law abiding gun owners at the Broken Hill Sporting Complex, who will face further restriction on the number of fi****ms that they can own following the passing of the new gun laws that were rushed through the NSW Parliament on Christmas Eve. 😡

The Nationals at both a State and Federal level voted against the new gun laws and the National Gun Buyback Scheme in support of responsible gun owners. There is still little detail to tell us how the buyback scheme will work, when it will happen and how much it will cost the Australian taxpayer.

Since that terrible day at Bondi when attention returned to gun laws, I've been swamped by letters, emails and phone calls from law-abiding gun owners this Labor government is letting down. I met with the Broken Hill Pistol Club because I wanted to hear first-hand how these changes will affect competitions, the Club and the sport overall.

Please contact my office if you would like a visit to your club within the electorate so I can hear how these changes will impact you and I'll continue to raise these concerns on the floor of Parliament. The fight isn't over. 🥊

To be very clear, I do not agree with the government's legislation, nor the process they have used. It is disrespectful and offensive to good people to be treated this way. But, here we are, unfortunately.
