🐦 GOLF COURSE WILDLIFE AWARENESS – PLEASE TAKE CARE
GBH would like to remind all members and guests to please be mindful of wildlife while out on the course.
Over the weekend, we received several reports of a magpie swooping in the vicinity of its nest. The magpie appears to have become increasingly protective and has extended this behaviour to other areas of the course.
We have contacted WIRES for advice. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do while the magpie is protecting its nest, so we ask everyone to please take extra care, remain alert and follow any signage or warnings while playing.
🐍 SNAKE SIGHTING – HOLE 14
A snake was also found on Hole 14 over the weekend. Sadly, it was deceased.
A friendly reminder that all wildlife on the course must be left alone. Please do not attempt to kill, catch or interfere with snakes or other wildlife.
