What an amazing couple of days at Broken Hill. There is so much to see and do.
We started up at the mine lookout, with the wall of remembrance for those who have passed away at the mine 🙏
Then off to the Pro Hart Gallery. We were privileged to meet Mrs Pro Hart, what a beautiful lady.
Then Gleno saw a sign fir a quilt show, so of course we stopped to have a stroll around.

We then experienced the Equinox dessert show.... artists that show off there work..all I can say is I'm glad it was free....🤪🤪🤪
This morning we went to the Royal Flying Doctors Service and enjoyed a tour around.
It was great. These people are truly amazing 💖

Well what an awesome 49th birthday for Cocko. He's always wanted to go to the Mad Max 2 museum here, and today he has ticked another item off his list.
Then off to the Pub for a hotdog washed down with a few beers.
Back at the van, getting the fire ready for a roast beef dinner.
Happy birthday babe, hope you've had a great day. Love you. 💖

WOW WOW WOW...What an amazing 4 nights at Merna Mora working station. An awesome place to stay while in the Flinders Rangers. Everyone on the station was happy to chat and explain the working of the property.
The Flinders Rangers is the most spectacular sight to be seen.
We did a 4X4 track on the property of the station and it was pretty full on. It was about 40 km track which took about 4.5 hours. The scenery around was just beautiful, no matter where we looked.
Can't wait to come back and explore more 👍🇦🇺

Last night pulled into Corward Springs for the night. What a beautiful camp ground. Our name was on our reserved sight, then straight to the artesian spring for a refreshing dip.
Left this morning and went past the very empty dry lake Eyre.
Driving I. The middle of nowhere and came across a sculpture park, a little unusual 😳
Filled up with fuel at Marree then off to the pub for lunch, where Cocko enjoyed a Camel burger.. 🐫🐫🐫.Not for me thanks.....🤣🤣🤣

Well what a fantastic night. The atmosphere at the William Creek pub last night was fantastic. Chatted with so many people from all different walks of life. The meal was delicious and the grog was cold...the best amenities for a camp ground in the middle of nowhere.
It does look strange to see planes all lined up in the main road, and rolling past the pub..
To my little Scottish bar made you are a beautiful girl, keep hydrated 🤣🤣

Good bye Northern Territory, hello South Australia.Had a nice little stop at Kulgera Servo with cool things to look at.
Crossed the boarder and had a great stay at Marla rest. Meet some ripper people and had some fun.

Started the onadatta track...Cocko is very excited. Have seen Larry the lizard, old ruins and more fun people.
Found a camp site near the river, so the camp oven came out and Cocko made a lovely chocolate cake. Spuds cooked in the hot coals and lamb chops on the fire.
Saw the old railway bridge that is the longest bridge in SA.

Pulled into William Creek not knowing it's there biggest weekend of the year. An Air show with approximately 100 planes, bands, dinner and a pub...so it's going to be a fun night tonight.

Last night took the opportunity to watch the sun set over the rock. It was absolutely beautiful. My pictures don't reall...

Last night took the opportunity to watch the sun set over the rock. It was absolutely beautiful. My pictures don't really give it justice 😕.
I think the purple sunset was my favourite.
Today we are just chilling..... its a rather warm 37 degrees which is a bit of a shock to the system 😳
