Runs on the board = roots in the ground 🌱🏏

That was the promise behind the Green Game between Prospect District Cricket Club and Glenelg District Cricket Club: for every run scored, Landcare Australia would donate a native plant.

Prospect took the win – so the plants came home with them. And a couple of weeks back, 250 native plants went into the ground across the City of Prospect, creating a lasting local legacy from one day of cricket.

Today, that journey continues through Sport Forever – the official support service we're leading to help community sporting clubs across all codes make the most of the Australian Government's Game On program.
