Your swim teacher said your child isn’t ready for the next level..

This usually means 1 or 3 things. Watch above and I’ll explain what they are. 🤍

Forcing a child into water doesn’t teach them to swim. It teaches them that water is something to survive.

Genuine water confidence isn’t built through force. It’s built through safety.

Swipe along and I’ll explain.

Your child’s brains starts forgetting their swim lesson within 24 hrs of leaving the pool.

Herman Ebbinghaus called it The Forgetting Curve. And nobody in the swim industry told you it was working against your child every single week.

Once a week lessons don’t beat the forgetting curve. They run straight into it. By the time Mondays lesson arrives the brain has already lost most of what was built last Monday.

Each lesson isn’t building on the last. It’s partly rebuilding it.

That’s why progress feels slow.. Not because your child isn’t trying. Because the gap between lessons is too long for the brain to hold on to it.

Daily practice, 10 mins, every night, reverses the curve.

Swipe to see me explain.

There’s another way.

I know swim teachers love to tell you there is only one way to do things but I got you.

If your child hates floating on their back and you’re having a hard time getting them to swim-float-swim, give this a go instead.

“Your child isn’t ready for the next level”

Four words. Then silence on the drive home.

Here’s what those words actually mean and what to do the moment you hear them.

“Not ready” almost always means 1 of 3 things: a confidence gap, a repetition gap, or an environment gap.
None of them mean your child can’t do it. All of them have the same starting point, daily home practice with you.

Swipe to see how I’ve translated every part of that feedback into something you can actually use.

For more tips and tricks goon my 30 day email list. Just comment the word Daily and I’ll send it to you.

You’ve been thinking of yourself as your child’s swim school parent.

You’re not.

You’re their most important swim teacher.

The swim school parent books the lesson, sits on the side, watches through the glass, drives home, and hopes it’s working.

The swim teacher is in the bath at 7pm. Knows every trigger. Has a nervous system their child trusts completely. Is there every single day.

That’s not the swim school teacher.

That’s you.

You have been the most important swim teacher in your child’s life this whole time. You just didn’t have the information to teach like one.

Now you do.

This one’s for the parents who have been sitting on the side wondering if they’re doing enough.

You are. And you can do more. Starting tonight.
