Looking for something to do this weekend? Come down to the ballpark, grab a drink, and enjoy some great baseball while supporting plenty of familiar Rapids faces! 🔥

Saturday's Royal Ravens lineup is bursting with Rapids ladies ready to take the diamond and put on a show. Make sure you get down and cheer them on! 💚💛⚾️

Then on Sunday, Pitch Slappers take on Hose Bibs Blue in what feels like a Rapids vs Rapids showdown, with many of our Senior players featuring across both teams. It's set to be a fantastic contest with plenty of club pride on display! 👏

Whether you're a baseball fanatic or just looking to get out of the house, we'd love to see our Rapids community around the diamonds supporting our players.

💪 Bring the heat, Lachlan!

Meet the SL world series team
👋 Lachlan #19

A pitcher and first baseman who brings focus and consistency to the Brisbane North Senior League team.

One of Lachlan's favourite baseball memories was starting on the mound against the South West America region at the Intermediate League World Series — a moment that showed him what it means to compete on the international stage.

His favourite MLB player is Christopher Sánchez, admired for his ability and competitiveness on the mound. For Lachlan, representing Australia is about more than baseball.

"It's really special playing in such a big tournament in America with some of my closest baseball friends and teammates. Brisbane North is where I have always lived, and it's awesome to be part of this team representing Australia in an international tournament."

In a few short weeks, Lachlan and his teammates will take Queensland baseball to the world stage for the very first time in the Senior League competition.

Introducing your 2026-2027 Rapids Committee!!

We are so excited to officially announce the team that will be leading our club into the upcoming season. We previously announced our Executive Committee but now it's time to celebrate the General Committee joining them.

Our volunteers are the driving force behind the Rapids community. From managing our wonderful facilities and coaching program to making sure the canteen is stocked and the diamond is ready, these volunteers are the heart and soul.

We want to thank everyone on this list for stepping up. We truly couldn't do it without you. Here's to an amazing season ahead.

Let’s go Xavier! 💚💛⚾️

Whether on the mound as a pitcher or behind the plate as a catcher, Xavier plays two of the game's most demanding positions and brings focus and determination to the team.

When asked about his favourite baseball memory, the answer was easy. Going to the Little League World Series.

Experiencing baseball on the international stage gave Xavier a glimpse of what is possible and helped fuel a passion for the game that continues today. His favourite MLB player is Mason Miller, admired for his electric arm and competitive mindset. For Xavier, representing Australia at the Senior League World Series is the reward for years of dedication.

"Representing Australia means a lot to me because it's the result of years of hard work and dedication to baseball. It's pretty special to compete against the best players from around the world and represent my family, teammates, club and country on such a big stage."

In a few short weeks, Xavier and his teammates will take Queensland baseball to the world stage for the very first time in the Senior League competition.

⚠️ WINTERBALL WASHED OUT ⚠️

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing wet weather and field conditions, all Winterball games scheduled for tomorrow have been washed out.

We know this is disappointing, but we appreciate everyone’s understanding. Please keep an eye on our page for any further updates.

⚾🌏 Pine Rivers Rapids Baseball Club was proud to support City of Moreton Bay Council by providing a number of club caps for the Mayor's recent visit to Japan.

The caps were presented as gifts to distinguished members of the Japanese softball and baseball community, including Ms Taeko Utsugi (Vice President and Head of International Affairs for the Japan Softball Association and former Japanese international player), Mr Atsushi Ihara (Secretary General and former Nippon Professional Baseball executive), and Mr Hirosaki Sakaguchi (Board Member, Japan Softball Association).

It is an honour to see our club represented on the international stage and to contribute to strengthening the sporting connections between Australia and Japan.

Thank you to Council for including Pine Rivers Rapids Baseball Club in this special opportunity. We look forward to continuing to grow the game and foster relationships both locally and abroad.

Shout out to Archie!!! ⚾️

A versatile outfielder, Archie is most at home in centre field but is always ready to step into any role the team needs.

One of his favourite baseball memories came earlier this year when he hit a home run at the State Titles—a moment he'll never forget.

His favourite MLB player is Aaron Judge, and like many young players, he's inspired by the commitment, leadership and work ethic shown at the highest level of the game.

When asked what representing Australia means to him, Archie's answer was simple "everything."

"It's about showing the world the talent Australian players have, never backing down and always showing up."

In a few short weeks, Archie and his teammates will take Queensland baseball to the world stage for the very first time in the Senior League competition.

⚾️ Looking to sharpen your skills before Timberjacks? ⚾️

Our friends at Elite Baseball are running two fantastic holiday skills camps this July for players aged 8–14 years.

These camps are a great opportunity to get extra reps in hitting, pitching, fielding, throwing, baserunning, and game situations, all while having fun with competitions and prizes along the way! 🏆

With only 10 players per camp and 2 coaches, participants will receive plenty of individual attention and quality coaching.

📍 Rapids – Tuesday 7 July
📍 Wests – Thursday 9 July

Ages 8-14
