Stuck for what to get Dad this Father’s Day?

This Sunday we will have a full Sporting Clays range on offer with set up from 9.30am and shooting from 11am.

Well what a fantastic day we’ve had for our English sporting event today. Good turnout and the weather didn’t disappoint either!

Congrats to the following winners

AA/overall highgun - Micky Blackwell 84/100 with mat crawf behind him in 2nd place with 75/100

A - phill sandman took home the win with 73/100 whilst Richard Clark was right behind him with 72/100

B - Lachie Fox took home the bacon on 66/100 10 clear of Bec McSherry in 2nd place with 56/100. Great shooting Lachie!

C - Koenrad goosens took the win today with 49/100 with Ian Leighton behind him in 2nd place.

Some tricky and deceitful targets on display that brought a few unstuck aswell as a few forgetting that it’s all pairs 🤣

Hope everyone enjoyed the day and we will see you all next month to do it all again!

Gotta love it when a fresh pallet of nothing but the best touches down at the club! Pinks are now back In play aswell as giving these yellow beauties a razz! Come join us this Sunday to see them in action.

Big thanks to crawf, Roger and Phil sandman for setting up 2 fresh courses for this weekends 100T English sporting event. 9:30AM shotgun start as usual and should be finished up by 12ish. No BBQ this month however cold drinks, tea/coffee available as usual. See you all there!

If anyone’s free tomorrow from 10am we will be setting up 2 ranges for next weekends English sporting. Many hands make light work.

Please note that on the calender this months shoot is down for the 5th weekend (30th). This is incorrect and it is next weekend the 23rd.

A great turnout for our Clay Snooker on Saturday, thank you to all that came and joined us.

AA Grade had Wratto and Mat Crawford shooting off in the final with Wratto taking the $500 with a score of 96.

A Grade was a shoot out between Drew Castles and Richard Clark, Drew for the win and $500 on 79 points.

B Grade and $500 went to Lewis Kenny with a score of 60 after a shoot off with Bec McSherry.

C Grade was a family affair with Aidan showing dad Justin Conley who is the better shot in the family with an impressive score of 77.
Hope the taxi ride home didn’t put too bigger debt in your $500.

We are all set for a huge day and night of shooting tomorrow.

Police are urging Tasmanian fi****ms licence holders to ensure their licence details are current and accurate.

The call comes as our officers identify examples of licence holders failing to notify Fi****ms Services of changes to details, particularly changes of address and changes to firearm storage locations.

❌ This is unlawful under the Fi****ms Act 1996 and impacts the ability of police to maintain accurate records and ensure fi****ms compliance.

➡️ It is the responsibility of all fi****ms licence holders to maintain control of their fi****ms, always store them securely and accurately account for their whereabouts.

➡️ Anyone unsure of their obligations regarding the safe keeping of fi****ms and ammunition should seek further information by visiting www.fas.police.tas.gov.au

After some serious testing with our Guinea Pigs, we are ready to unveil our super fun event to the shooting world.

With $500 cash on offer for each grade winner this is one event you do not want to miss.

Qualifier rounds start from 11.30am with the 4 top shooters from each grade moving through to the finals kicking off from 5.30pm under lights.
