STATE CHAMPIONS AND PROUDLY BROTHERS! 🏉
What an incredible achievement for some of our Brothers girls representing the Sunshine Coast on the big stage at the Queensland School Sport State Championships.
A massive congratulations to Allyra Weier, who was part of the 15–16 Years Sunshine Coast Girls School Sport Team that claimed the Queensland State Championship title on the weekend. The team was outstanding throughout the tournament, finishing with a perfect 8 wins from 8 games, capped off by a dominant 28–5 victory over South Coast in the Grand Final.
To go through an entire state championship undefeated is an incredible effort and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by the players, coaches and support staff.
We also want to congratulate Zayley Strydom, Mia Zaremba and Luce Lamplough, who proudly represented the Sunshine Coast in the 17–18 Years Girls competition. The girls battled hard throughout the tournament and finished 4th in the Plate Pool, gaining valuable experience and continuing their rugby development against some of the state’s best talent.
At Brothers, we love seeing our players challenge themselves, represent their region and create pathways beyond club rugby. Whether it’s a State Championship medal or simply pulling on representative colours, these opportunities are earned through hard work and commitment.
Congratulations girls. We are incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see what’s next for each of you.
The future of women’s rugby at Brothers is bright. 🔵⚪️🔵
