⚔️ Battle of Nicklin Way. Two clubs. Three cracking contests. One huge day of rugby. 💙🤍

There’s never much between Brothers and Caloundra, and Saturday was no different.

Our Women’s team left absolutely everything out on the park in a thriller that went right down to the final play. Heartbreak on the buzzer, but a performance full of courage, grit and determination. Keep building, girls. Finals are just around the corner and this group is only getting stronger. 💪 Our Reserve Grade boys stood tall when it mattered most. In a physical contest from start to finish, they found a way to get the job done and keep their finals push rolling. Tough, composed and full of character.

Then came A Grade, with the bragging rights for Nicklin Way on the line. Another brutal battle between two quality sides, but our boys dug deep, trusted each other and came away with a massive win. That’s two wins to one this season, and the Battle of Nicklin Way belongs to Brothers in 2026. 🔥

A huge congratulations to all of our iGear Players of the Match. Individual performances were outstanding across the day, but these results were built on team-first footy.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip down the road to support us. The blue and white were loud, proud and right behind our teams all day.

Now it’s time for the final push. Finals are calling.

🚨 FIREFIGHTERS... PUPPIES... MAYBE? 👀🐶🌹

Alright, let’s clear this up...

We’ve had a few questions about whether there will actually be firefighters holding puppies at Ladies Day... and the honest answer is...

We’re working on it! 😂

No promises just yet, but we figured if rugby, rosé, oysters, live music and fashions on the field weren’t enough... we’d throw the idea out there and see what happens. 😉

What we can promise is an incredible afternoon and evening with the Brothers family as we celebrate our last official home game of the season.

We’ve also included a second slide with all the details after plenty of questions from everyone:
🌹 The canteen is open to everyone during the senior matches.
🌹 Once the games finish, the Ladies Day celebration is a ticketed event (yes... that includes the blokes too!).
🌹 Your ticket includes a 3-hour drinks package from 3pm–6pm, with players enjoying their own package after their matches.

Whether you’re coming for the rugby, the rosé, the live music, the oysters, the laughs, or you’re just hoping a firefighter turns up with a puppy... we’d love to have you there.

🏉🔵Huge congratulations to Brothers Rugby’s Matthew Visser and George Attenborough! 🔵🏉

What an incredible achievement by these two young stars, who proudly represented the Sunshine Coast Stingrays U12s at the 2026 representative carnival.

After an outstanding tournament, the Stingrays finished as Grand Final Silver Medallists, an achievement the entire Sunshine Coast rugby community can be proud of.

To top it all off, both Matthew and George were selected in the Tournament Merit 23 – recognition of their exceptional performances throughout the competition. An outstanding honour and a testament to the hard work, dedication and skill they’ve shown all season.

We couldn’t be prouder of you both. Congratulations on representing your club, your teammates and the Sunshine Coast with such pride.

What a weekend of rugby across the club! From our youngest juniors right through to our senior grades, there were outstanding performances, great teamwork and plenty of moments that reminded us why we love this game.

Congratulations to everyone selected in this week’s Team of the Week. Being named is recognition of your effort, attitude and commitment to your teammates. Whether it was a big tackle, a match-winning run, relentless defence or simply doing the little things right, every player earned their place.

What makes this team even more special is seeing players from right across our club represented. That’s what One Club. The Family Club. is all about.

To everyone who pulled on the butcher stripes over the weekend, thank you for representing Brothers with pride. To those who missed out this week, keep working hard—another opportunity is just around the corner.

7 DAYS TO GO! 🌹🏉

The countdown is officially on! Our Rugby & Rosé Ladies Day, proudly presented by Next Property Group, is just 7 days away and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to our biggest social event of the season.

And when we say everyone, we mean it. Bring your partner, your mates, your mum, your dad, your grandparents, your aunties, your uncles and your friends. This isn’t just a Ladies Day... it’s a celebration of our entire Brothers family.

With our last official home game of the season, there’ll be plenty happening both on and off the field. Enjoy live music, delicious food, drinks, our famous roving oyster bar, fashions on the field, prizes, giveaways and a huge afternoon cheering on our senior teams.

⚔️ TEAM LISTS | THE FINAL BATTLE FOR NICKLIN WAY ⚔️

It all comes down to this.

The final chapter in this year’s Battle for Nicklin Way is here as Brothers head south to take on Caloundra in what promises to be another massive day of rugby.

Every time these two clubs meet, it’s physical, it’s passionate and it’s decided by the smallest of margins. With finals just around the corner, there’s everything to play for. Every tackle, every carry, every breakdown and every point matters.

Our A Grade boys are looking to secure the Battle for Nicklin Way after both clubs have claimed a win each this season. Reserve Grade will be out to continue their strong form as they build towards finals, while our Women are chasing another important result to keep their momentum rolling.

Three grades. One club. One final Battle for Nicklin Way.

To everyone making the trip down to Caloundra, get behind the blue and white and make your voices heard. Let’s finish the regular season the Brothers way.

🎉🔵⚪️Happy Birthday to one of the absolute heartbeats of Brothers Rugby! ⚪️🔵🎉

Today we’re celebrating our incredible Senior Vice President, Carissa Brogden.

If you’ve spent any time around Brothers, chances are you’ve seen Carissa quietly getting things done. Whether it’s helping on game day, supporting our players and volunteers, lending a hand behind the scenes, or simply making sure everyone feels welcome, she gives so much of herself to this club.

Carissa is a true Brothers Mum in every sense of the word. Her passion for our players, her unwavering support of our volunteers, and her commitment to making Brothers the best club it can be is something we’re all incredibly grateful for.

She never asks for recognition, but she’s one of the people who keeps the club running week in, week out. From carrying rugby balls to lending a hand wherever it’s needed, no job is ever too big or too small.

Carissa, thank you for everything you do for our players, our members, our families and our club. We hope today is filled with plenty of laughs, love and a chance to put your feet up (even if only for a little while!).
