The Season will now kick off February 2nd, with games kicking off from Monday 2nd February. Games will run Monday nights with additional games to be played on a Wednesday night pending the amount of teams entered into the comp!

Another successful season complete. After our presentation for our u12 Youth Football Team, there was one final award to be given. The Spartan of the Year, the club’s most prestigious award, was awarded to Gary Price. Coach Gary has been with our club for 10 years this year, he’s coached, retired, joined the committee and then un-retired to coach again. His unwavering support of our club has never gone unnoticed. Gary is a many that doesn’t need the honour, he will just always show up to support the club. We love you Coach Gary, can’t wait for many more years of football fun!

We want to give a special shout of to former Spartan Junior player Thomas Huber, who this week has received a NCAA Division 1 (FCS) Football Offer to play Quarterback at the University of New Haven. This a huge accomplishment and with this, Thomas now becomes the first Australian QB to go to Division 1. We are so proud of his journey and continue to wish him all the best in his football journey.

We’re excited to announce that the Sunshine Coast Spartans have secured a new three-year home at the Nirimba Sports Complex, locking us in through 2028! Huge thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council for their amazing support in making this happen. We look forward to joining Nirimba Hurricanes Rugby League Club at the complex!
