Can you get excited over a toilet? We sure can! 🚻✨

We're delighted to share that the Lords Raceway Management Committee, Bendigo Greyhounds , and Bendigo Harness Racing Club successfully secured combined funding with the government to refurbish our public toilets, and what an incredible difference it has made!

The old amenities were condemned and locked up several years ago, but the newly refurbished facilities are modern, clean, and ready to serve our patrons.

These improvements will go a long way in supporting the many events and race meetings hosted by Bendigo Greyhounds and Bendigo Harness Racing Club in the coming months. Check out the before-and-after difference!

👏 May Trainer of the Month Winners! 👏

Congratulations to Tarah and Nick, who have been recognised by the BHRC Committee as our Trainers of the Month for May!

Thanks to our sponsor Garrards Horse & Hound , both trainers will receive a gift voucher to enjoy in-store.

Tarah has recently welcomed beautiful baby Matilda, little sister to Hamish, making her success on the track even more impressive. Despite juggling a young family, her stable continues to perform brilliantly, led by the ever-consistent Poppy Popstar.

Nick's team has also been firing on all cylinders, with Fremarks Peggy and Champagnes recording multiple victories in recent weeks. His stable continues to grow and produce fantastic results.

Well done to both trainers on a very deserving award, and thank you again to Garrards Horse & Hound for supporting our Trainer of the Month awards.

Although we're enjoying a break from racing, the Bendigo Harness Racing Footy Tipping competition went right down to the wire. A huge congratulations to our top three finishers for an outstanding season. We'll be in touch shortly to organise your well-deserved winnings! 🏆

Before the Industry Presentation, take a step into history!

As Bendigo hosts the Industry Presentation on Monday 31 August (5:00 pm to 7:00 pm), our dedicated volunteers Steve and Norm will open the Victorian Heritage Room from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Attendees are warmly invited to browse our ever-growing heritage collection and see the latest additions. It's a wonderful chance to explore the stories and history that continue to shape our industry.
