Volunteers are a core part of the shooting community in Australia and dedicate significant time to supporting our many wonderful members, clubs and initiatives..

National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering, and this year will be held from 19-25 May 2025.

This special event provides an opportunity to highlight the important role of volunteers in our community and also invites people not currently volunteering to potentially give it a go.

We would like to recognise the positive contributions of as many volunteers as possible.

Our Committee of Management, New Member Mentors, Handgun Safety Instructors, Discipline Captains, Working Bee and Maintenance persons.

So many club members , do so much and more.

I will not have mentioned or thanked you all, as there are those individuals also who once approached help out in their own unique way.

We welcome members to step forward from time to time and volunteer, their valued time.

That is what makes a club.

We have another working bee scheduled for Saturday.

"Gloves and Muscles" needed.

The tasks are simple
* Wood moved from back ranges to wood pile
* Did I mention a ute would be handy with a tow ball for the trailer?
* Rake up wads on back ranges and bin
* Move ladder from Range 6 to back ranges for shade cloth fit out
* Move two banks of turning targets from range 5 to the front of range 1
* Rake up sticks on Range 8, pick up skittles and dispose of
* General range tidiness, sweeping etc

Sausage Sizzle Lunch 12 midday

We also have a job which we would like to outsource to a member - to do in their own time. It is to construct tree protection for approximately 6 trees on Range 8. Please let me know if you are interested
