The Bendigo Basketball Association (BBA) offers opportunities to people of any age and ability to be a contributor to Basketball in Bendigo. Whether it’s a 4-year-old learning to catch, through to our semi professional players or being an official there is a place for you in our great game. The Bendigo Basketball Association domestic competition, the Junior Braves, Senior Braves, Roller Braves (Wh

eelchair), together with all the volunteers combine to just under 4000 people. Programs we run:
Walking Basketball, Wheelchair Basketball, Aussie Hoops, Access All Abilities, Biddy Ball

All 3 competing teams did Bendigo proud, and our U16 Girls returned home Bronze medalists. NJC 2026 over and out!

We're excited to announce that Jennys Early Learning Centre has extended its partnership with Bendigo Basketball through to 2028 as a Premier Major Partner. 🎉

As part of the agreement, Jennys ELC will become the Naming Rights Partner of our Domestic Competition.

An incredible achievement. One for the history books. 💙💛

Our Bendigo Junior Braves 1st sides have officially ALL secured their place in the VC Championship division for the VJBL season.

To have every 1st side competing at the highest level is something truly special, and a reflection of the commitment, resilience and hard work shown across our entire program.

Adding to an already huge achievement, three of these teams are also heading to the National Junior Classic over the June long weekend.

There, they’ll compete against some of the nation’s top qualified teams, and we can’t wait to follow their journey.

THE VICTORIAN WONDERS & THE WNWBL ARE MAKING THEIR BENDIGO DEBUTS!

This weekend marks a historic moment with the Victorian Wonders of the WNWBL (Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball League) making their way to Bendigo for the first time ever for THREE matches with the Sydney Blues.

The Victorian Wonders have a number of Bendigo Roller Braves athletes, including Harriet Caldwell, Kim Hampton, Shelley Matheson, as well as coach for both the Wonders and Roller Braves, Lauren Robinson.
