The BDCC heart goes out in this difficult time to the Innes family on the passing of Stewart Innes.
Stu was a budding young cyclist riding with the likes of Frank McCaig before his calling working in his family business & one of Bendigo’s most respected & successful car dealerships, Innes Motors Bendigo.
The Innes family have been incredible supporters of the cycling community & long term sponsors of the Bendigo International Madison & now with Scott Innes supporting local events including the Melville Caves Classic, Merv Dean Memorial 3 Day Club Tour & the Rob Vernon Memorial.

Huge day ahead for Team Brennan led by the Elite Men's Australian Road Champion, Patrick Eddy in the UCI 1.1, Muur Classic Geraardsberge, One day classic from Geraardsbergen to Geraardsbergen over 179km.
The race route includes 2,200meters of climbing over 22 climbs & 8.8km of cobble stones that includes the World famous Muur climb that is deeply rooted in cycling tradition.
The start list includes 5 World Tour teams including 3 times Giro d'Italia stage winner, Paul Magnier .

It was another outstanding day at the office for the Bendigo riders, with perfect weather and thrilling racing at day two of round 3 at the Broadford Raceway for the AusCycling (Victoria).

Today's 2026 Fairbrother Broadford Junior GP (BBB Cycling VJRS), Round 3, 2-day GP at Broadford raceway was an exhilarating display of skill and determination. Bendigo riders showcased their prowess, securing well-deserved podium finishes.

The events kicked off with an individual time trial, followed by a road race, with another road race scheduled for tomorrow in the opposite direction.

Congratulations to all participants and best wishes for tomorrow's competition - may it be filled with excitement, safety, and enjoyment.

A heartfelt thank you to the organisers and helpers for their invaluable contributions.
