ABA 2026/27 Information
What an exciting time for Australind Basketball over the next few years with the Leschenault Leisure Centre Court Expansion Project commencing from 1st October 2026. As this is a very welcomed development at LLC, it will pose some challenges and changes to our competitions for Season’s 2026/27 and Season 2027/28. With Courts 3 & 4 being closed off from 1st October 2026, we will be running our competitions from Courts 1 & 2 only.
ABA has been working very diligently with LLC over the break to ensure we will provide the same opportunity for all our age groups for the upcoming season, but with a few changes to be explained briefly below. With our great working relationship with LLC, we have been able to secure court bookings to ensure we have exactly the same amount of game allocation slots for 2026/27, with the addition of a Thursday afternoon/night to our existing Monday and Friday nights. We will also continue with our hugely successful Junior Bouncers program for 2026, with this development program moving to a Tuesday afternoon.
We are currently unable to commit to which age groups will play on which playing nights until registrations close, so we can work out how best our competitions will find into our tight scheduling. We will though endeavour to play our U/11’s & U/13’s in the afternoons and early evenings, some later games may be required throughout the season, and we will consult with those teams once fixturing is completed.

Player Payments Due Fri 18th Sept 2026 – min 6 players to be registered and fully financial to be included in final fixtures for the season. Committee to monitor player/team registrations and can adjust teams into appropriate divisions on team player strengths.
Fees $230 per player. If playing in two teams, a small discount is available. Contact Registrar for more details

Junior Bouncers Registration and Skills Day
Registrations Open - Sunday 9th August 2026 - Teams to be determined upon receiving registrations
Registration Close - Friday 18th September
Skills Day - Sunday 11th October 2026 @ 10.30am (Subject to LLC Court Availability)
Season Starts – Tuesday 20th October
Season Finishes - Tuesday 8th December
Fees - $120

Game Nights
Season will commence from the week of Monday 12th October 2026
Monday, Thursday & Friday – Court 1 & 2 only
Starting from 3.45pm
To accommodate the court allocations, we have made a small adjustment to the game timings for the season ahead. See below. These will be 45 min game slots to accommodate expected high demand of teams registering for 2026/27.
5 minutes – Warm Up
15 minutes – 1st Half
3 minutes – Break
20 minutes – 2nd Half
2 minutes – Outgoing team departs bench allowing incoming teams to warm up.
