We are searching for a gun! Someone who can hit the ground running and assist in putting our venue on the map. Our business is growing and we are looking for someone who will do that with us!

What you'll be responsible for:

-To be responsible for all functions from initial bookings to room set up through to function coordination and completion.
-Provide outstanding customer service
-Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Committee and Members
-Must participate in Match day events and other events as required
-Conduct site inspections
-Establish and deliver effective communication and processes
-Assist in the development, selling and follow through of function promotions
-Accurately monitor and control function costs according to budgets
-Provide support to the Eaton Boomers Socials team as required
-Receive stock orders and complete stock reports
-Monitor building and equipment maintenance and security
-At all times adhere to Club values and Club policies.

About you:

-Be passionate about organising smooth events.
-Be a team player and have a 'can do' positive attitude
-Have experience in a similar role
-Be able to multitask with great time management skills
-Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and excel.
-Have great communication skills
-Have a current RSA
-Great attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
-Strong ability to solve problems and offer solutions
-Works hard to ensure the best outcome for the Club – building collaborative relationships with staff members across departments throughout the Club
-Role models Club values, professional behaviour and integrity

Our President, Murray Upson, Facilities Manager, Rhiannon Hall and one of our masterminds behind the operation, Imogen Crump from our Women's League had the honour of attending Djidi Djidi School today to present an award to one of their budding art students. Skye Hansen won the competition for Design a Guernsey, our players will be wearing her design with pride during our Indigenous Recognition Round, against Collie on Sunday, 13th September. We are looking for a GUN!
..a team player and 'sleeves rolled up' attitude. Someone who has passion for the service industry with a friendly demeanour. They will ensure the bar operates smoothly, with sufficient stock and staff at all times. Must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a courteous demeanour with customers and members, as well as effectively make use of downtime. Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a customer service orientation and commitment to company values and image. Pays close attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of staff, as well as the financial success of the establishment.

There will also be some function work during the on and off season, just to keep things extra interesting!

You will be an approved manager under the Liqor Control Act.

With the recent and ongoing updates from our Government, it is with a heavy heart that we are announcing our temporary closure and will no longer have an operating bar on Friday evenings. Thank you to everyone who has supported us during this time.

We look forward to the day we can open our doors and welcome you all back.

APPRECIATION POST: (Because we could all do with some good news during this doom and gloom)

A HUGE thank you to Rhi Lilly and Jenny Scott for coming in last week in their own time, to machine clean our clubs carpets. Theses ladies spent over 4 hours and put some serious elbow grease to make the carpet look bright and shiny.

Also MASSIVE thank you to Eva Upson, for making a whopping 400 spring rolls for our cancelled WCE event last Friday night.

It is dedication and commitment from these women that keep our club moving and growing. Thank you for all you do. We appreciate you!
