60 players enjoyed another great afternoon at the Retravision Open Drawn Pairs. Once again the weather was great and everyone seemed to be having a good time by the laughs coming from across the greens.
Before the start of play a one minute silence was held in honour and recognition of the loss of a great member in Gordon Cartledge.
Winners today on a countback were E. Pelusey and I. Cartledge with 31pts plus 33, from P. Bartholomew and M. Baker on 31 pts plus 11.
3rd place on 30pts were D. Gardiner and R. Cowcher.
4th place were J. Bailey and R. Miles with 28 pts.
5th place, on 27.5pts were J. Waywood and P. O'Hehir.
Drinks Award G. Gornall and M. Martin.
Thanks once again to Retravision for their continued Sponsorship.
A Lucky card prize, donated by H. Cruttwell, was won by A. James and M. Simpson.

A very successful evening was held at the Club tonight to celebrate the Clubs Achievement of winning the Bowls WA Best Country Club Award.
There were approximately 100 members present representing the Bowlers, Senior Citizens, Line Dancers and our Friday night Social Patrons as well as a strong representation of our Club Sponsors.
Speeches were made by our Club Patron Joy Bailey, Dardanup Shire Representative, Ladies President Margaret Mance and Club President Terry Bright.
Terry said the success of the Club comes down to its Members and all the amazing volunteers.
Club Convenor Maureen Coulson and her Committee put on a beautiful spread of food.
Well done to all.

MEMBERS EVENING- Another great evening- fantastic music 🎶 from Kevin and Ruth (Vision).
All the popular music for people to sing and dance to - so much laughter, everyone having fun.
Delicious meals by Ash and her Staff, such an excellent menu. Bar Staff and Volunteers always appreciated for their hard work.
Happy Hour, Popular Bats (and this week one of our regulars ( dear Simon) who is always supportive had a few collects ) - well done Simon.
Members Draw- Mal Morgan no. 931, not in attendance so jackpots to $300 next week.
JACK IRISH will be with us next week. Always popular with such a variety of music.

Another successful day today, with no rain hindering play, for our Retravision Open Drawn Pairs.
60 players participated.
Winners were G. Keep and M. Martin on 32 pts.
Close behind on 31pts were Y. Godfrey and R. Baliel.
On 30 pts, coming 3rd, were J. Bailey and T. Cooney.
4th place, on 29.5 pts, went to E. Pelusey and J. Fuschbichler.
On 29pts plus 21 and in 5th place on a countback were P. Bartholomew and B. Hathaway.
Drinks award went to J. Crowe and J. Waywood.
Big thankyou to Retravision for their continued Sponsorship of our popular event.
Thanks to all players from outside Clubs, as well as our own Members, for continuing to support the event.

The President Terry and Members extend our Sincere Condolences to Jeff Hookham , Craig and family on the loss of your beloved wife and mother Cheryl who passed away last Tuesday after a short illness.
Jeff is a Member of our Club and son Craig a very good Sponsor.
RIP Cheryl - your smiling face will be sorely missed by all who knew you.
