Netball finals are here and we have a few staff members taking the court.

Tamara will take her spot on court for Kangas A1 in a do or die elimination final, while Caitlin and her team will try to book themselves a spot straight into the grand final for Narrikup A4. This morning, the boss’s daughter Zoe battled hard for their spot in the D2 prelim final but went down by 7.

A weekend of milestones for a few local Albany sporting legends.

In the local footy, Graham "Rossy" Ross celebrated his 300th game for North Albany, while fellow club legend Matt Orzel announced his retirement from football. Both playing a huge part in their clubs success over many years.
Young gun Billy McRae is making a name for himself in basketball as he has just earned himself a spot over at the Brisbane bullets as a development player in the NBL.
Ex-Kangas netball A1 team mates, Keely Berry and Sophie Panizza battled it out in the WANL netball grand final, in a nail bitter that came down to the wire. Keely and her Roar team mates came away with the win.
