To the best father in my life - I am so exhausted while writing this post but so, so, so, unbelievably grateful that afterwards, I know you've got me. Right now, you are helping out Lincoln. You've just finished cooking us dinner and encouraging me to do what I need to recharge. After this, you'll cuddle me while I drink tea and remind me how amazing I am and do the same for Lincoln.

So this happened.

I'm a finalist in the 2026 Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards for King Virtual Services.

Once upon a time, I was a mum at home who was good at admin and needed an income that worked around my son.

Now, its become a lot more than a little side hustle, and I regularly see the finalist announcement emails hit my inbox.

And every time I see one, I am so proud to share it with all you other amazing people, because its the proof that you can do this too.

The years you've spent running a household and juggling everyone's needs aren't wasted time.

They're exactly the kind of organised, capable, gets-it-done skills this work needs. Starting later just means you bring more to the table, not less.

A little peek at what a normal day looks like around here.

Some homeschooling, gymnastics, multiple coffees, a very cheeky dog who thinks every walk is the best day of his life, and yes, some client work squeezed in there too.

It's not always this smooth, but days like this are exactly why I do it the way I do.

Being there for the fun stuff and still getting my own thing done.
