🎯 Welcome Back, Junior Shooters! 🎯

After a two-week School Holiday break, we're excited to welcome all of our Junior shooters back to Wednesday night sessions at the Reynella Smallbore and Air Rifle Club!

A new term brings plenty of fun, exciting and challenging activities, with expert guidance and support from our dedicated Junior coaches, Mike and R**t. Whether you're continuing to develop your skills or just getting started, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

At Reynella, we encourage participation at all levels and provide opportunities through our Pathways Program, supporting shooters from their first shots right through to elite-level competition.

🌟 Never tried target rifle shooting before?
Why not come along and have a go! It's a safe, enjoyable and rewarding sport that builds concentration, discipline and confidence.

🎯 Bring a Buddy Night Wrap-Up! 🎯

Last night marked the final junior club night for Term 2 at the Reynella Smallbore & Air Rifle Club, and what a fantastic way to finish the term with our "Bring a Buddy" week!

Our juniors had the opportunity to coach a friend or family member, sharing their skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. It was wonderful to see both new and experienced shooters enjoying themselves, with some impressive scores achieved throughout the night.

A big thank you to all the buddies who joined us and helped make the evening such a success.

Our Junior members now head off for a well-earned two-week break over the school holidays. We hope everyone enjoys the holiday period and returns bright, refreshed and ready for another exciting term.

Term 3 also marks the beginning of our new membership year, and we look forward to welcoming our Juniors back for a focused, fun-filled and challenging year ahead.

Next Wednesday night marks the final session before our Junior Group heads off for a well-earned two-week break… but we’re not going quietly 😏

It’s time for our legendary
🔥 “BRING A BUDDY (FREE!)” NIGHT 🔥

That’s right, Juniors — grab a friend, sibling, parent, neighbour… or anyone you think you can turn into a sharpshooter in one night!

👨‍🏫 Here’s the twist:
YOU become the coach!

That’s right… the tables have turned — it’s YOUR job to guide your buddy to greatness (or at least somewhere near the target 🤭).

🎯 After your coaching session, you’ll BOTH shoot 20 shots
➕ Your scores get combined
🏆 The pair with the best total score takes the glory

So the big question is…
👉 Is your coaching skill elite… or will your buddy expose your secrets? 😄

🎯 SUPER SATURDAY – MONTHLY COMPETITION! 🎯

Join Target Rifle South Australia for our popular Super Saturday Competition, held on the last Saturday of every month!
Whether you’re a beginner or an elite shooter, Super Saturday is designed for all grades and is a fantastic way to experience competition in a structured, supportive, and welcoming environment.

🔥 Events include:
• ISSF 10m Air Rifle (free-standing)
• Air Supported / R3 / VIP
• 50m Benchrest (Class 1, 2 & 3)
• 50m Prone
• 20m Air Benchrest

💲 Entry Fees:
• Just $18 for the whole day (enter as many events as you like!)
• Late entries: $20 on the day

🎯 Reynella Juniors Bring the Heat! 🎯

What a fantastic night last Wednesday at Reynella Juniors! 👏

Plenty of concentration, dedication, and skill on display as our junior members worked their way through their Personal Training Record exercises — future champions in the making! 💪✨

But now… it’s game on. 😏

Next week, we go head-to-head in another fierce 40-shot competition with our friends from Morialta & Wingfield Clubs. You may have taken the win last time… but we’ve been sharpening our sights and we’re coming for those bragging rights! 🔥

Morialta & Wingfield juniors — consider this your official challenge… bring your ‘A’ Game! 🎯

And to raise the stakes even higher, we’re inviting the juniors from Belmont Junior Air Rifle Club (BJARC) to join in our mini-competition. Let’s see who really has the best aim across the clubs!
May the best group win… 🏆 (but no promises we’ll make it easy 😉)

🌟 Tuesday Morning Seniors – Shooting First… Then the Important Stuff! 🎯

At Reynella Smallbore & Air Rifle Club, our Tuesday Morning Seniors Group is all about enjoying the sport of shooting in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Regulars come along for a social shoot, keeping their skills sharp and enjoying time on the range—with plenty of encouragement and good-natured banter along the way.

Of course… once the shooting is done (or sometimes in between!), there’s also another very important tradition—☕ morning tea, lovingly prepared by the ever-talented Ros. Add in plenty of conversation, laughter, and catching up with friends, and you’ve got a great morning all round.

Whether you’re an experienced shooter or keen to learn, this is a welcoming, supportive group where you can enjoy the sport at your own pace. The shooting may be the focus, but the friendly atmosphere keeps people coming back!

🎯 Junior Club Night Wrap-Up – Reynella Smallbore & Air Rifle Club 🎯

What a fantastic night we had at our Junior Club session last night! The range was buzzing with energy, with an almost full firing point at both the 4:30pm and 6:00pm sessions—great to see such strong attendance and enthusiasm.

Our activity for the night was a highly competitive game of Snakes and Ladders, and it certainly delivered plenty of excitement! There were lots of great scores pushing shooters up the ladders, while a few unlucky shots sent some sliding down the snakes!

Session 1 Results:
🏆 Congratulations to Archer R for winning the game—and even better, achieving a personal best (PB) score for 2026!
🥈 A big well done to Archer C for narrowly taking second place, also shooting a PB and earning his 320 badge—fantastic achievement!

Session 2 Results:
🏆 Well done to Indi for taking the win, along with shooting a personal best score!
🥈 Great shooting from Maddie, coming in second place.
👏 Congratulations also to Mason on shooting his PB score—excellent work!

Next week’s session will focus on training, with a mini fun shoot thrown in for good measure. We’re looking forward to seeing even more PBs and continued improvement.

🎯 Morgan Open Prize Shoot – Reynella Represent! 🎯

Four brave (and well‑aimed) members from the Reynella Smallbore and Air Rifle Club ventured off to the Morgan Open Prize Shoot this weekend. All shot respectably, and only occasionally blamed the wind, the light, or the alignment of the planets. 😄

A big thank you to the Morgan Smallbore Rifle Club for hosting a great competition — well run and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The competition was followed by the very serious business of socialising at the after‑shoot get‑together, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Ray and Sally for their wonderful hospitality — proof that good shooting is important, but good company is essential! 🍻

Well done to our travellers and ambassadors for the club! 👏

Hey kids and parents! Junior Club is back tomorrow and we’re kicking off a fun‑filled Term 2 — 10 awesome weeks of learning, challenge and loads of fun!

Coach Mike has put together an exciting program that includes:
