Now, Kathryn recently completed her first fitness test in quite a while and, fair dinkum, when I looked at the results, I nearly fell off my chair! 😲

I saw a picture yesterday of two wolves standing side by side. The message wasn't about choosing between them.

It simply said:

"He stopped choosing. He became both."

That hit me harder than a burpee after leg day.

Anyone who lives with depression or anxiety will probably understand. Some days you've got the confident wolf leading the charge. Other days you've got the anxious wolf questioning whether putting socks on was a good life decision.

This year has been a grind. The fitness industry has felt the economy. The cancellations have been frustrating. Mentally, it's tested me more than I'd like to admit.

But then this week, one of our members reminded me of something important.

She was disappointed with her plank result.

The funny thing?

She'd already improved from 51 seconds to 1 minute 20.

Then a few days later she smashed out 1 minute 44.

That's more than double where she started.

And that's the lesson.

Sometimes we're so focused on where we're not that we completely ignore how far we've come.

The same goes for fitness.

The same goes for business.

And the same goes for life.

Wolf Fitness SA is now in its fifth year. Most fitness businesses don't make it this far. This year hasn't been easy, but we're still standing, still growing, and still building our pack.

The two wolves are still there.

The difference is, these days they're learning to pull in the same direction.

Strength within ourselves.

MEMBER OF THE WEEK – MAHLAH πŸ”₯🐺

This week's Member of the Week goes to none other than Mahlah! πŸ‘

Now, I knew she'd improved since joining us back in March, but after her fitness test this week, I nearly fell off my clipboard! πŸ€―πŸ˜‚

The results were absolutely outstanding...

πŸ’ͺ Wall Sit: 61 seconds ➑️ 5 MINUTES! πŸ”₯ That's a ridiculous 392% improvement!

πŸ’ͺ Plank: 52 seconds ➑️ 1 minute 20 seconds πŸ”₯ Up nearly 54%!

πŸ’ͺ Knee Push-Ups: 20 ➑️ 27 πŸ”₯ 35% improvement!

πŸ’ͺ Total Push-Ups: 39 ➑️ 53 πŸ”₯ Almost 36% improvement!

And then came my favourite result...

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ For the very first time ever, Marla ran a full kilometre!

No shortcuts. No magic tricks. No secret Wolfpack potion (although we're still working on that πŸ§ͺπŸΊπŸ˜‚).

Just consistency, determination, hard work, and turning up week after week.

What I love most is that Marla never makes a fuss. She just gets in, gets the job done, has a laugh along the way, and quietly keeps proving to herself that she's capable of more than she thinks.

Honestly, I couldn't be prouder.

These results are incredible, but I have a sneaky suspicion we're only getting started. πŸ‘€

Confession time...

Technology and I have never exactly been best mates. πŸ˜…

Growing up, we couldn't afford a computer, so I missed a lot of the digital revolution. Even now, some technology feels like it's written in another language.

But over the last few weeks, I've been creating something exciting for our membersβ€”a Health & Wellness Bingo Challenge launching in July.

Did I make mistakes? Absolutely.

Could parts look better? Probably.

Am I still proud of it? You bet.

I used AI, learned more Canva tricks than I ever thought I would, organised sponsors, and even navigated the printing process. For some people, that's no big deal. For me, that's a genuine achievement.

It's a good reminder that you don't have to be great at something to give it a go. Sometimes the biggest wins come from simply being willing to try.

So here's your reminder: stop doubting yourself, start backing yourself, and don't be afraid to look a little silly while learning something new.

You might just surprise yourself.
