The practice that gave me my mojo back!
Twelve years ago I walked into a barre class and found my way back to myself.
Before that I had gone more than a decade without moving my body for me. Not for fitness, not for anyone else. For me. Ill health had taken a lot, and somewhere in the middle of it I had quietly put myself down.
Barre picked me back up.
It is dynamic, it is fun, and it works the body in ways nothing else quite does. The million pulses. The quick transition you were absolutely hoping for and absolutely did not get. Great music, great vibes, and a whole lot of shaking legs.
My style is my own. I sing along to the songs, except I swap the lyrics for whatever I am asking your body to do. It makes people laugh mid pulse, which I think is the point.
Thursdays in Stirling at , and online whenever you need it.
And if you have ever thought about teaching barre, come and talk to me. I think it is on its way back, and I would love to show you why.
