Today we say goodbye, but it doesn’t feel like enough for a life that meant so much.

We have known you for what feels like forever, through different seasons of life, through laughter, growth, and even difficult moments. You were always there, a steady presence, someone we could count on, someone who made life feel warmer and more meaningful just by being part of it.

It’s hard to imagine a world without you in it. Hard to accept that we won’t hear your voice, see your smile, or share in those simple, beautiful moments again. But what we will always have are the memories — the love you gave, the kindness you showed, and the impact you made on all of us.

You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed. That will never change.

As we lay you to rest today, we hold onto everything you gave us. Your spirit lives on in our hearts, in our stories, and in the way we carry your love forward.

Met diepe hartseer neem ons afskeid van Bets Stander, ’n ware legende in SA Ringbal. Haar passie, toewyding en onskatbare bydrae tot die sport het ’n blywende merk gelaat in die harte van almal wat die voorreg gehad het om haar te ken en saam met haar te werk.

Ons bring hulde aan Bets Stander vir haar jare lange, onbaatsugtige bydrae tot Korfbal/Ringbal. As speler, ambassadeur en keurder op beide provinsiale en nasionale vlak het sy met passie, integriteit en toewyding die sport help vorm en bevorder.

Haar nalatenskap leef voort in die lewens wat sy geraak het en die hoë standaarde wat sy gestel het. Ons spreek ons opregte dank en diepe waardering uit vir alles wat sy vir die sport beteken het. Sy sal altyd met respek en bewondering onthou word.

Mag haar nalatenskap voortleef in die sport wat sy so liefgehad het, en mag haar familie en geliefdes troos vind in die kosbare herinneringe wat sy agterlaat. Ons gedagtes en gebede is met julle in hierdie moeilike tyd..
