200KM. 3 PROVINCES. 1 EPIC HERITAGE DAY 🚲

This Heritage Day, 24 September 2026, we’re taking you on a BIG ride through the Vaal, North West and Free State!

Join the Vaal Triangle Cycling Club for our VTCC Heritage Day Double Century Ride — a fun, controlled and fully supported 200 km group ride starting and finishing in Vanderbijlpark.

💨 Average group pace: 28–32 km/h, depending on conditions

Whether you’re chasing your first Double Century or simply want to experience 200 km with a well-supported group, come ride with us!

💰 Entry: R200 for non-VTCC members

⚠️ Important: This is a paced group ride. Please make sure you are comfortable maintaining an average of 28–32 km/h.

Once registered and paid, non-VTCC members will be added to the dedicated WhatsApp group for ride communication and updates.

The Vaal Triangle Cycling Club Double Century Club Rides are back for 2026!

We’re committed to building a stronger cycling culture across the Vaal and surrounding areas, creating opportunities for riders of all abilities to challenge themselves, ride together and achieve something special.

What to expect:
✅ Controlled pace groups with dedicated pace partners
✅ Average speeds between 28–32 km/h
✅ Fully supported routes with water and nutrition points
✅ A welcoming club environment focused on helping every rider complete the distance

Whether it’s your first Double Century or another milestone on your cycling journey, these rides are about teamwork, camaraderie and creating lasting memories on the bike.

We are incredibly proud to unveil the new Vaal Triangle Cycling Club kit for 2026/2027. This design represents our identity, our growth and most importantly, the incredible partners who stand behind our riders.

This kit would not be possible without the businesses and people who continue to invest in local cycling and community development.

Cefratec (Johan Botha) has been part of the VTCC family since our establishment in 2019.

For the past 6 years, DJR Plant Hire (Danie Jansen van Renburg) has prioritised our riders’ safety by providing our follow vehicle during training rides and events.

Since joining the club in 2022, Nessa (Jorge &Carla de Agrela) has played an important role in supporting our development and journey.

Oh what fun we had on our first ever Christmas ride 🎄🚲

We dressed up, we lost some Christmas balls and tinsel on way, we had music, laughter, giggles and joy all the way!

Thanks to everyone who joined, the friendly car drivers passing us and sharing in our fun, the drivers in the two follow cars and a special thanks to Jorge Martins for marshalling this ride for us.

The first of many to come…
