The goal of our Program is to provide an enjoyable learning experience for each youth participant; through developing character, sport related skills, sportsmanship and promoting good will among all individuals. Learners will have the opportunity to learn new skills within the basics of the game, rules of the game and how to follow them, along with the fundamental skills of passing, kicking, catching, tackling, running, etc.… as well as our core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring. Gaining confidence and getting plenty of exercise in the process whilst most importantly, learning to play rugby SAFE & having A LOT OF FUN!!!!!! Some of the individual Skills that we focus on are:

Champs Rugby Development - Vaal Triangle was established in 2009 and forms part of Champs Sports Development and is very blessed to have experienced coaches, with coach Dewald Pieters the owner and head of coaching of CSD having over 20 years of coaching experience, working mostly with kids between the ages of 3 to 18. All our coaches are Boksmart and min World Rugby L1 Certified, SAP cleared and will provide safe, ethical and passionate training sessions which adhere to the values of discipline, personal growth and respect for others.
