Meanwhile, Montagu Club staged a strong comeback to beat Alberts RFC 38–28 at Eagle Park. League leaders Swellendam held onto first place with a hard-fought 32–24 victory over McGregor Rugby Club at House of Pain.

At the end of Round 8, Robertson Town lost 25–24 to Worcester Villagers at Boland Park. This result moved Swellendam to the top of the log after they beat Ashton United 29–25 at Powell Stadium. Meanwhile, McGregor came from behind to defeat Robertson Rangers 41–37.

At the end of Round 7, Saw Robertson Rangers pull off their first victory of the league edging past Touwpark RFC with a narrow 27-23. Whilst in other news saw Young Goodhope Ashton emerging victorious over Montagu Club as they edged them 20 - 17 at King Edward stadium.
