Yesterday, our CBR Smash Masters team hit the tables in Worcester for the very first Cape Winelands Table Tennis League matches of the year!

It was a fantastic day of intense rallies, sharp competition, and great sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of how our players stepped up and set the tone for the season ahead.

A massive thank you to our hosts, Titans Table Tennis Club, for organising a brilliant event and making us feel so welcome.

A massive CONGRATULATIONS to Alvina May for making it to the Semi-Finals of the Cape Winelands Table Tennis Senior Championship! 🏅🔥 Your hard work, dedication, and skill have made us incredibly proud!

We also want to give a huge shoutout to all our CBR SmashMasters members who competed in the event—you’ve shown true sportsmanship and the fighting spirit of our club! 💪👏

As we move forward in 2025, we’re committed to growing our club, being more inclusive of women and persons with disabilities, and developing table tennis in our local schools. We believe in making the sport accessible to everyone, and we welcome players of all ages and skill levels!

🎉🏓 Huge congratulations to Kenwin Lombaard for making it to the Round of 64 at the recent Cape Town Table Tennis Open Championship, held from 25-27 October 2024! Reaching this stage is an incredible achievement, especially considering the fierce competition with 200 men competing in his category.

CBR SmashMasters is immensely proud of Kenwin’s performance and looks forward to him sharing the invaluable lessons and experiences gained with the rest of our players. Your hard work and dedication inspire us all!

We also want to extend our congratulations to Alvina May for her participation in the same tournament. We wish her a speedy recovery from the injury she sustained during the competition. Get well soon, Alvina—your resilience and spirit make us proud! 💪🏓

Ons is bly om aan te kondig dat ons voorsitter, Alvina May, gekies is om die Kaapse Wynland Tafeltennisfederasie by die SA Kampioenskap te verteenwoordig. Ons is geweldig trots op hierdie prestasie. Die klub wil sy opregte dankbaarheid betuig aan die Kaapse Wynlandse Tafeltennisfederasie vir sy skenking van 'n net, spane en b***e. Hierdie belegging sal help om ons geliefde sport te laat groei. Almal is welkom om die nuwe toerusting uit te probeer tydens oefening, vanaf 4nm by WA Rossouw Primêre skool.
