🏉 THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE KEMPTON PARK 7’S A MASSIVE SUCCESS! 🏉
What an unforgettable weekend of rugby, community, and great vibes at Barnard Stadium on 30 & 31 October! An event like this doesn't happen without an incredible team of people working behind the scenes and on the field, and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a part.
👏 TO THE TEAMS & PLAYERS
To all 10 teams who competed—Gedex Nigel Warriors, WAPC Black, Edenvale, Debizzi, Boksburg, Wasp's, Tendellas Barbarians, and our very own KPRC Wolwe—thank you for bringing top-tier skill, relentless passion, and true sportsmanship to every single fixture. You made the action on the pitch unforgettable!
🎥 TO DREAMSTREAM — LIVE BROADCASTING
A massive shoutout and special thank you to the team at Dream Stream for live streaming the tournament matches throughout the weekend! Having the games broadcast live was a huge game-changer for us—it allowed supporters, family, and fans from all over who couldn't be at the field to catch every single try and big hit. Thank you for your unbelievable, top-class service! 🙌📺
🍔 TO OUR VENDORS & ENTERTAINMENT
A big thank you to all our local food stalls, vendors, and refreshment teams who kept our players refueled and our supporters well-fed and hydrated throughout the two days. You kept the energy high all weekend long!
🤝 TO OUR SPONSORS & PARTNERS
To our generous tournament sponsors—thank you for believing in our vision and backing grassroots rugby in Kempton Park. Your support makes days like this possible, and we are proud to stand alongside you as partners in local sport.
🛡️ TO THE KPRC MANAGEMENT & VOLUNTEERS
To the Kempton Park Rugby Club management committee, staff, refs, medics, and volunteers who worked tirelessly before, during, and after the final whistle—thank you for your dedication, late nights, and seamless ex*****on.
🌱 BUILDING SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR KEMPTON PARK
Our goal is to build the KPRC 7s into a flagship annual event on the Ekurhuleni sports calendar—a weekend where our local community, families, businesses, and rugby lovers come together to celebrate world-class local sport.
We want Kempton Park to grow right alongside us as this tournament expands every single year!
🗓️ THE ROAD TO NEXT YEAR STARTS NOW!
The boots may be off and the field cleared, but the work for next year begins immediately. We’re already taking notes, planning upgrades, and preparing to bring you an even bigger, bolder, and more explosive tournament next season!
Thank you, Kempton Park! See you all back at Barnard Stadium soon! 🖤💛
