🚨 VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ 🚨
Our organising team received a call from the landowners at Caversham this morning after eight paddlers accessed their property and launched at 8am without prior permission.
Our relationship with these landowners is incredibly important, and we have made it very clear in all our communications that the race start is on private property and paddlers are NOT permitted to access the river from Caversham outside of the officially allocated tripping times. There is plenty of paddling that can be done from the NCT bridge down.
*We ask that the eight paddlers involved contact Jacques immediately to discuss this incident.*
Please take this seriously. We are extremely fortunate to have the support of these landowners, and we cannot afford to jeopardise that relationship. Please respect their property and the arrangements that have been put in place 🙏
