THANK YOU, TYGERBERG FAMILY!
As the 2026 season draws to a close, I/we would like to take a moment to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our loyal Tygerberg RFC supporters.
Since the new Executive Committee took over in October 2025, we embarked on a journey with a clear vision: to rebuild, strengthen and move our beloved club forward. Throughout the 2026 season, you stood firmly behind us — through the victories, the challenges, the celebrations and the difficult moments.
I/we are profoundly proud of our winning ratio/record, with only one narrow defeat at our beloved Florida Park. Beyond the numbers, this season has been about resilience, commitment, unity and the continued belief in what Tygerberg RFC represents as a proud community club.
We acknowledge the highs — the memorable victories, hard-fought battles and moments that made us proud. We also acknowledge the heavy losses and disappointments. Those moments have provided valuable lessons and highlighted where we must continue to improve.
To every supporter who travelled to away fixtures, filled the stands at Florida Park, encouraged our players, shared our posts, raised your voices from the sidelines and continued to believe in Tygerberg RFC — THANK YOU!
Your unwavering support does not go unnoticed. You are an integral part of this club and the community, what makes Florida Park feel like home.

The Tyger Cup is about more than rugby.
It is a fixture played in remembrance of the late Emmanuel McKenzie, a player who proudly represented both Tygerberg RFC and UCT RFC.
Emmanuel's legacy lives on through the two clubs he represented and through the rugby community that remembers the contribution he made both on and off the field.
Tomorrow, we come together as Tygerberg and UCT not only as opponents, but to honour his memory, celebrate his legacy and recognise the special connection he created between our two clubs.
Tygerberg Family, we need YOU one more time!

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027
The challenge only gets tougher.
The Super League A moves into a new 12-team format, creating an even more competitive environment with a greater emphasis on strength versus strength.
We will take the lessons from 2026, build on our successes, address our shortcomings and return in 2027 stronger, hungrier and better prepared.
