💥🎣 The Big Fish Challenge 2026 🎣💥

As another incredible Big Fish Challenge comes to an end, the results may not have been what we hoped for, with only one weigher and a few non-weighing fish making it to the bank. But that's fishing, and every session teaches us something new.

What made this event truly special was the time spent on the bank with the Essential Angling teams, supporters, and friends. Every moment was worth it, and we are grateful to everyone who forms part of our ever-growing fishing family. 💙

To all the teams that proudly represented and trusted Essential Angling, Psycho Baits, and Lunker Products throughout the competition, thank you. Your passion, commitment, and belief in our products make us incredibly proud. 👏🔥

A massive thank you to Eugene Kruger , Arno Van Rooyen , Michélle Cloete , Dries Bezuidenhout , Anke and the entire organizing team for the countless hours of hard work and dedication that go into hosting the biggest and best specimen carp competition in South Africa. 🎣🔥 Big Fish Challenge 2026 – Day 2 Update 🔥🎣

After a very quiet Day 1 with no action for any of our three teams, the fish finally started showing themselves on Day 2!

A massive congratulations to Frank "The Tank" on landing a beautiful 15.8kg common carp 💪🐟. Meanwhile, Juan and Derrick also managed to get in the action with a few non-weighers, keeping the spirits high and the confidence growing.

The traps have been reset, the rods are ready, and everything is in place for the final push. 🎯

Now it's all down to the last day of the competition. Let's see what surprises Roodekoppies has in store and hopefully a few more monsters find their way into the nets! 😎🎣🔥
