The week at Boar’s Head Resort for the Boar’s Head Resort Women’s Open was a great reminder of what makes clay court tennis so special.
Throughout the week, matches settled into long rallies, with players working points and competing the way the surface is meant to be played. With one of the top tennis facilities in the country—home to a nationally recognized program and a deep lineup of clay courts—the setting speaks for itself.
Newly renovated HydroCourts played consistently throughout the week, giving players the confidence to move, slide, and stay in every point.
A great tournament, at a place that continues to be such a strong stage for high-level clay court tennis.
