Welcome to the HGG Family!⛳️

50 clubs in six years. Heritage Golf Group has officially reached a major milestone with the acquisition of club number 50, Independence Golf Club in Richmond, Virginia.

The acquisition further strengthens Heritage’s presence in Virginia, joining 1757 Golf Club in Dulles, Spring Creek Golf Club in Charlottesville, and The Dominion Club in Richmond, located just 20 minutes from Independence.

Recognized as one of Central Virginia’s premier semi-private golf destinations and event venues, Independence Golf Club features 27 holes of golf, including The Championship Course, an award-winning 18-hole course originally designed by acclaimed architect Tom Fazio, and The Bear, a nine-hole par-3 course.

Reaching 50 clubs represents an outstanding chapter in Heritage’s growth story and, even more importantly, the people, clubs and communities that have made it possible.

Today, Heritage Golf Group and its Clubs remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who answered an unimaginable moment with extraordinary bravery.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those who never came home, the families who still carry their loss, and the spirit of unity that brought our country together in the days that followed.

We remember, we honor, and we will never forget.

Dolly's legacy will live on through her Foundation, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Spring Creek Golf Club & Heritage Cares Foundation teamed up with The Imagination Library, Louisa Virginia in 2024 & 2025 to help make an impact in our community. Although we would have much preferred to hug Dolly herself, we appreciated all that made Dolly... well Dolly- be represented at our event.
