Yuma Silver Spur Rodeo

Yuma Silver Spur Rodeo The event known as Yuma Silver Spur Rodeo started in 1946 by the Yuma Jaycees. It is now produced by Silver Spur Rodeo, Inc. Donations are tax deductible.

The committee is comprised of all volunteer members and is a 501c3 charity. The Silver Spur Rodeo, Inc. are in their 78th year promoting a PRCA sanctioned rodeo. The Silver Spur Rodeo supports the youth and many charities in the community of Yuma AZ. Held the 2nd weekend of February since 1946, the Rodeo is the culminating event of many other events including the Lois and Charlie Worthen Memorial Old Time Fiddlers Contest held in January, a parade held in February and many others.

A few Rodeo Members (2 different teams) entered the Smoke & Fire Rib Cook Off at Destiny Church. I’m happy to report that Jason Morgan & Tim Ballinger took FIRST PLACE & Michael ‘Lefty’ Leifeste & Jason ‘Bubba’ Fowler took 3rd Place!
