Looking for the perfect introduction to youth hockey? We are thrilled to debut the NHL / NHLPA Learn to Play Hockey program at York Ice Arena, officially launching this Fall 1 session!

Developed in partnership with the NHL and USA Hockey, this brand-new program is designed to help aspiring youth players build fundamental skills in a welcoming, high-energy environment built specifically for new hockey families.

What makes this Fall 1 program so incredible?

🎒 Head-to-Toe Equipment INCLUDED: Say goodbye to equipment stress. Your registration includes all the gear your player needs to take the ice safely!

Thinking about getting your kid into hockey, but worried about the gear and the cost? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

We hear you! That’s why we’re launching a brand new, FREE 4-week introduction to skating and hockey for boys and girls ages 4–10!

No skating background? No gear? No problem. We provide the coaching, the skates, and the equipment. All you have to do is bring your kiddo to the rink on Wednesday nights!

✨ 4 weeks of expert coaching (Wednesdays, 6:15 PM – 6:45 PM)

✨ Gear provided for the duration of the class.

Note: This program is exclusively for first-time skaters/players who have not previously attended Learn to Play or Take A Shot.
