Instructor Spotlight: Meet Chad!!!

Chad is a skilled Cirque‑style/Aerial Arts Instructor associated with Dance It Forward. With expertise in ballet and dance, aerial silks, trapeze, or other apparatus, Chad plays a vital role in bringing aerial-inspired movement to Dance It Forward’s performance-based training programs.

Mr. Snyder danced with the Greater York Youth Ballet and is also an avid and talented swing dancer!

In this position, he supports dancers in developing strength, flexibility, and artistry while maintaining high standards of safety and technique.

As part of the staff, Chad is deeply involved in facilitating productions, creating engaging choreography, offering private instruction, and contributing to the studio’s mission of making dance and aerial arts accessible to a broad community.

Instructor Spotlight: Meet Kylah!

Kylah directs and leads our Happy Feet Early Childhood Faculty. As an NCAA champion gymnast and former pre-school director, she is the perfect choice to direct our group of early childhood dance professionals. Everyone who has worked with Kylah knows that she is an “early childhood whisperer”.

Kylah is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Communication Disorders.

She welcomes all new littles into our programs and promises to love them up and give them a great start in the arts!

Dance classes in York, PA for ages 18 months through adult. Explore ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, acro, performance and competition programs.

Instructor Spotlight: Meet Emily!!!

Emily has been dancing since the age of three and currently takes ballet, tap, and jazz classes at Dance It Forward. She is a regular performer in “The Nutcracker” and looks forward to participating each year. Emily is dedicated to inspiring a love for dance in her students by creating classes filled with energy, encouragement, and patience.

Emily holds a degree in International Business from Elizabethtown College and is currently working toward her MBA at Penn State. When she’s not dancing, Emily enjoys relaxing with her husband and their dogs, reading, and crafting.

Instructor Spotlight: Meet Samantha! She will direct the Forward Force Dance Competition Team, teach Hip Hop and Contemporary this season!

Samantha is a dedicated professional, a mother of five, and an advocate for creating supportive and enriching environments for children. Her husband and herself have built a love and safe home for their biological, foster and adoptive children, including those with special needs. These experiences have strengthened her patience, empathy and resilience - qualities that transfer directly into her work as a dance educator and leader.

From a young age, she has been deeply rooted in the world of competitive dance. Samantha's background has shaped her into an educated leader with a consistent and high standard of professionalism. She brings much creativity, discipline and enthusiasm to her students, and these qualities are reflected in their growth and success.

Instructor Spotlight: Meet Hannah!

Hannah started dancing at the age of nine. For her first 6 years of dance she primarily studied ballet. She then went on to study Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, and Hip Hop. During her high school years Hannah was a part of the Pine Creek Dance Collective.

Hannah attended Messiah University where she majored in Dance and Psychology. While in college, she danced with the university dance company GiVim. Hannah studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Broadway Jazz, Hip Hop, Improv, Choreography, and Modern, as well as Dance History and Dance Pedagogy.

Outside of dance, Hannah has a love for reading, music, and spending time with her husband and daughter!

Hannah is very excited to share her passion for dance, creativity, movement, and dance education.

Instructor Spotlight: Meet Erin!

Erin is a graduate of Millersville University, where she majored in Entertainment Technology and minored in Theatre.

From ages 5–18, Erin studied a wide variety of dance styles at the Margaret McCann School of Dance in her hometown in central Pennsylvania. While attending Millersville, she taught jazz dance, co-choreographed musicals, and stage managed several productions for theatres throughout the Lancaster area.

Her background in both dance and theatre brings a creative, well-rounded perspective to the classroom and stage.
