What an incredible week, Des Moines did not disappoint. Coming from a small gym in NW Oklahoma to the big stage of the AAU Junior Olympics was a great experience and honor. These four girls competed with heart and passion. Pre Lims started Thursday with Sofia and Ruthie competing at 8:00 am and Nadalyn and Laikyn competing at 4:40. Each girl competes all four events in their age group . The top 4 over all age groups for each event and session advances to the finals . This is out of 75-80 girls .

Sofia- Vault 9.8 🥇advance to finals on vault. Bars-8th, beam-9th, Floor- 7th
Ruthie- Vault 9.5 🥈Bars-11th, Beam-9th, Floor-8th
Nadalyn- Vault-5th, Bars 7th, beam 7th, Floor 7th.
Laikyn-Vault 4th, Bars 🥉, Beam 6th, Floor 9.75 🥈

Friday finals
Sofia - Vault finishing with a 9.6 and placing 4th.

Best of luck to TZ Elite girls competing in the Jr Olympics tomorrow 🤸🏼‍♂️I can’t wait to watch these girls do their thing !!! First session 8:00am Sofia and Ruthie. Next session 4:40pm Laikyn and Nadalyn .

Tumble Zone’s TZ Elite competition gymnastics team has seen outstanding success this year with several athletes placing highly at the AAU Nationals competition in Tennessee last June and four of the athletes scoring high enough to qualify for the 2026 AAU Junior Olympics! Ruthie Cloyd, Sofia Ruiz, Nadalyn Porras, and Laikyn Woolfolk will compete in the Junior Olympics as part of the AAU National Gymnastics Team in Des Moine, Iowa on August 6th & 7th. This is an incredible achievement, and the girls’ would be so grateful for your support!

Join us for a Parents’ Night Out at every child’s favorite birthday party spot — Tumble Zone! Ages 3 to those entering 4th grade are welcome. The Junior Olympians have planned games and activities for the kids. We will feed them pizza and have refreshments as well.

Parents, bring your kids and let us wear them out while you enjoy an “off duty” evening. $30/child, and $25 for each additional sibling you bring. Only 50 spots available for this date. If you plan to send your child, please fill out the registration form below. Payment can be made via cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or cash app. Only those who have prepaid will have a spot reserved, but payment can also be made at the time of the event.
