We’re hiring! 💙🐴

Sandhaven Farm is looking for an experienced home rider to join our team in Portola Valley, CA. We’re looking for someone confident and capable riding a variety of jumper horses, with a strong foundation, thoughtful flatwork, and a horse-first approach.

There’s flexibility for the right person, with the position ranging from 4–5 days per week to full-time. This is primarily a home riding position working alongside the Sandhaven team and helping keep our horses happy, confident, and feeling their best.

Another incredible summer at Thunderbird in the books! ❤️🇨🇦

There’s just something about this place. Year after year, Thunderbird continues to be one of our favorite stops on the calendar and always feels a little like coming home. We’re so thankful for another two weeks of great sport, great horses, and even better memories with our Sandhaven Farm family. 🐴✨

A huge thank you to the entire Thunderbird team, the staff, officials, hospitality, and everyone working behind the scenes who makes this show so special. We’re always grateful to be here and, as always, already looking forward to coming back! 🧡

For now, we’re headed home for a little reset before turning our sights to the Masters at Spruce Meadows to close out our Canadian summer! 🇨🇦✨

A strong Sunday to close out another great week at Thunderbird! 💙✨

Janaya Torres and EDESA’S CORSALL jumped to a 🥉 3rd place finish in the $2,500 1.20m Open Jumper Classic, while Janaya and INDIGO BLUE added another top-five result with 5th place in the $15,000 U25 1.40m.

Janaya’s NEW SENATOR, piloted by Jeffrey Fields, also earned a top-10 finish, taking 9th in the $10,000 1.40m National Grand Prix.

Another big day yesterday at Thunderbird for the Sandhaven Farm team! 💙✨

Jeffrey Fields and IDRIGILL VAN DE GROOTE KAMPS led the way with a 🥇 1st place finish in the $2,500 Emily Sandhack Equestrian Realty 1.35m Open Jumper Classic, with Jeffrey and KADORENA SFN joining them on the podium in 🥉 3rd.

Jeffrey and PADISHA added a 🥈 2nd place finish in the $4,500 1.25m Young Jumper, while NOBLE continued his strong week with a 4th place finish in the $10,000 CSI3 Winning Round 1.45m*. 🐴

Sahana Ganesan and ORTOLAAN VAN HET RUYTINXBOS also earned a top 10 finish in the Winning Round, taking 8th. 💙

Sahana piloted MY FERRARI to a fantastic 4th place finish in the $31,100 CSI3 George & Dianne Tidball Legacy 1.45m while LARANKA added another top result, finishing 7th in the class. 🐴

Two horses in the top 10 and another strong day at Thunderbird! 🙌🏼🏆
