Good morning! IT’S RACE DAY & FAN APPRECIATION DAY! 🏁🏎️

What a few weeks it has been! After Hayden’s wreck last race, we were left with no car to continue his racing season. Hayden was sitting 4th in points, and we knew we had to do everything we could to get him back on the track.

It didn’t take long for people to jump in and help. It all started with Jeremy Glasier, who had a stripped-out automatic car, so we jumped on that one. Our goal was to get Hayden back into a standard car, but we figured this one could be a backup. Within just 3 days of work, we had it race-ready!

Then Gary Norris Jr. said, “Get all the cars to my house,” and the work really began. We had just 12 days to build a running race car. Gary somehow pulled off the impossible and got BOTH cars race-ready for today!

That means BOTH Carver boys will be on the track today! Cody and Hayden are beyond excited to finally race together!

I can’t thank everyone enough who stepped up:

🙏 Gary Norris Jr. — I know you missed several events you were scheduled to attend because you were here making sure these boys’ cars were ready. I can’t thank you enough!

🙏 Kaiden Morin — You were there every day helping change things over and getting these cars ready.

🙏 Hayden — You were hands-on every single day. You worked your butt off to get your car ready!

🙏 Jessica Soucy — Thank you for giving Gary up to us for those 12 days!

🙏 Richard Sather — Thank you for coming over and troubleshooting some of the issues we ran into.

🙏 Don Berlan — Thank you for coming over and helping us work through some issues.

🙏 Kevin Greenhalgh — As always, you were willing to do whatever it took to make sure these cars made it onto the trailer. We ran into an issue that could have set us back several days, and Kevin was right there. Somehow, he had that car running again within minutes!

And thank you to the MANY other people we called, texted and bounced ideas off of during this crazy process. Every little bit of help made a difference!

Lastly, I want to thank my wife. Yesterday was our 16th wedding anniversary, and unfortunately I missed most of it because I was at the track and working on these cars all day. I’m incredibly thankful for your understanding and for everything you do for our family. ❤️

As of now, the #72 Cody has already seen some track time, while the #44 Hayden has gotten about 4 laps before we had to pull it off and make a few more adjustments. We’re hopeful that practice today goes smoothly and both boys can put these cars through their races!

Come out to Fan Appreciation Day and support the Carver boys!

🏁 CHEER ON THE #72 Cody & #44 Hayden! 🏁

We can’t wait to see these two brothers out there racing together! ❤️🏎️🏁

Here are a few pictures of Hayden’s old car as we clean it out and get everything ready to transfer over to the new one.

It’s hard to see this chapter come to an end after the wreck, but we’re thankful Hayden walked away and gets the opportunity to race another day. This old car gave us a lot of great memories, and now it’s time to focus on the next one.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Hayden through this journey. Your encouragement, donations, and sponsorships have helped make this possible. We can’t wait to get the new car finished and back on the track!

Exciting news! We have officially found our next race car!

Right now, we’re working on two cars, and our goal is to have both race-ready for Fan Appreciation Night on August 15th.

If we only have one car ready, Hayden will be back behind the wheel. If we get both cars finished in time, Cody will be making his first run for a checkered flag!

With that being said, we’re currently looking for additional sponsors to help with the cost of getting these cars race-ready, including building the roll cages, purchasing new tires, and all the other expenses that come with racing.

We can’t thank everyone enough for the support you’ve shown. Whether you’ve helped us find the cars, donated parts, lent a hand in the shop, or sponsored Hayden along the way, you’ve made this possible. Without all of you, and without our amazing sponsors, this would still just be Hayden’s dream instead of something he’s getting to live every weekend.

A huge thank you to our sponsors:

• Kevin Greenhalgh
• Don Berlan
• Mike’s Towing
• Carver’s Driving Academy
• Wes Carver Painting
• Drew’s New to You

We couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for believing in Hayden, Cody, and our family. We can’t wait to see everyone at Wiscasset Speedway on August 15th!

Saturday night was definitely one we’ll never forget.

Hayden started the night with an incredible 2nd-place finish in the first feature, racing against 19 cars. Then, as many of you already know, things took a scary turn during the next race. Hayden was involved in a violent crash that sent his car airborne before it rolled and came to rest upside down. The car is a total loss, but cars can be replaced. Hayden can’t.

Thank God for the safety equipment, the strength of these race cars, and the incredible roll cages. Things could have ended much differently, and we are beyond thankful that Hayden walked away with only a few bumps and bruises.

A huge thank you once again to the Glasier family. Because of your generosity, Hayden was able to jump right into your spare car and still collect some valuable points in the second race.

What made me the proudest wasn’t the finish—it was Hayden’s determination. Most people would have called it a night after a wreck like that. As they were helping him out of the car, one of the first things he said to Larry was, “Do you think I can have this fixed before the next race?” Then he said, “Tell Dad, I’m okay.” As a father, I couldn’t be more proud of this kid and his heart. He refuses to give up on his dream.

Now the hunt begins for another car so Hayden can be back on the track for Fan Appreciation Night on August 15th. He’ll be there handing out T-shirts and giving away a few backpacks filled with school supplies to help some kids get ready for the upcoming school year.

Finally, I want to thank our amazing team, sponsors, pit crew, and fans. Without your time, support, and generosity, this 14-year-old wouldn’t be able to chase his dream of racing.

And to our pit crew and all of our fans—thank you for standing behind Hayden every step of the way. We couldn’t do this without all of you.

Now that we’ve had a little time to settle in after last night, we wanted to give everyone an update on Hayden.

Hayden had a double feature at Wiscasset Speedway. In his first feature, everything went great! He started 7th out of 18 cars and worked his way up to an impressive 2nd-place finish.

Unfortunately, in the heat race before the second feature didn’t go as planned. Just two laps in, Hayden was hit, sending his car airborne. It rolled over, slammed into the concrete wall, and came to rest upside down. The car is a total loss, but thankfully Hayden only has some bumps and bruises and is going to be just fine.

We’re determined to find another car within the next two weeks so he can be back on the track for Fan Appreciation Night on August 15. Hayden is currently sitting 4th in season points, and we’re not ready to give up on this season.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out to check on Hayden. Your calls, messages, and support mean more than you know.

A huge thank you to the Glasier family for allowing Hayden to use their spare car so he didn’t lose valuable points during the second feature. That shows incredible sportsmanship and class, especially considering Hayden races against both of their daughters.

We’d also like to thank Wiscasset Speedway and the entire track crew for responding so quickly and helping in every way possible after the accident and David from AC towing for bring the car home for us

Finally, we’d like to thank each and every one of our sponsors. Without your support, a 14-year-old kid wouldn’t be able to chase his racing dreams.

Thank you all again for your support.

If anyone knows of a race-ready car for sale, please let us know. We’d really like to stay with a Chevy Cobalt since we have a lot of parts for one, but at this point we can’t afford to be too picky. We’re ready to get Hayden back on the track!

Opening day was definitely a tough one for the 44 car. We kept dealing with a dead pedal issue that caused the car to stall, and to top it off we blew a tire. After long nights digging into it, we finally found the problem, a broken wire causing the pedal to go dead.

Week two was a whole different story. The car ran great all night and we ended up winning the heat! We led most of the feature race until a caution came out, and after sitting the car got super tight. Thankfully we were still able to hold onto 4th place. Huge improvement from week one and we’re excited to keep building from here!

Thank you for the photos Jasen and to all my supporters4️⃣4️⃣🏁
