Matchett Racing is seeking your help to cover the cost of tires and fuel for the upcoming Coastal 200 at Wiscasset Speedway on Sunday, May 26. We have had some bad luck with tires this year which has led to less than desired results. Usual races are 40 laps but this one will be 200 laps. With your help and some adjustments, the car will be ready for a great finish.

Open Practice this Thursday & Friday from 10a-5p. This practice session is open to ANY drivers (not limited to just Wiscasset drivers). Practice rotation will be based on what cars are present. The Speedshop and tire sales will also be open.

We are ready for 200 laps this weekend at speedway 95 for the end of the year big races!! We put the final touches on the late model tonight. Loading the cars up tomorrow evening for practice on Friday and double races on Saturday.
Ashline Race Cars is finishing up the prep and set up on the Sreet Stock I will be driving on Saturday along with my Late Model.

We had some ups and some downs this weekend. Spent the weekend camping at wiscasset. Sunday we had a good car. It never showed a lot of speed on the charts but it was very easy to drive. We had a good showing in the heat race till a incident on the last lap. We looked forward to the race. We started out just riding for the first 100 laps only doing what we needed to do to get to the bottom. On the last restart before most people went to the pits for tires we made a little bit of a push to gain a few spots. Getting us close to the top 5. We pitted with most and the car went down hill from there. We ended up 8th on track after a disqualification we ended up 7th. Felt like we had a way better car then we showed. Thank you to all our sponsors for fuel tires and entrance fee. Thank you to everyone that helped in the pits on our stop. We will back in a couple weeks to try again.
