WINLOCK DANCE JUNIOR COMPETITION TEAM CONCLUDES SUCCESSFUL SEASON: Winlock Dance Center has announced the successful completion of its Junior Competition Teamβs 2026 season.
Beginning in January 2026, Winlock Dance Centerβs junior team traveled throughout the Pacific Northwest, participating in four regional dance competitions in Portland and Seattle.
Competing against some of the stateβs top powerhouse studios, the team consistently earned High Gold adjudications, received special judgesβ awards, and placed in the overall Top 10 for several routines, a news release from the Winlock Dance Center stated.
βThe goal of our competition team is really not about the awards to be won β itβs more about the confidence that is built during this process and the core memories these girls are creating together,β said Robin Brumley, director of Winlock Dance Center.
The team and Brumley would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the local community for its fundraising support and donations throughout the season. Competition entry fees alone can range from $65 to $85 per dancer per event, and community contributions have played a meaningful role in helping make these opportunities possible for local youth.
As Winlock Dance Center looks ahead to the future, the studio remains dedicated to fostering excellence in dance while building confidence, discipline, teamwork and lifelong memories for its students, according to the release.
