It's that time again! TSS is looking for scholarship students for our 2026 class. We provide three students club membership and 35 training flights, which can include solo flights! Many of our students have gone on to get their licenses, collect other flight scholarships, attended service academies and careers in flight.
This years program will a rapid, immersive program which will also includes academics, simulator training, and ground support roles. The dates are from Jun 18-25, and from 9-5 each day. If not all flights are completed in the immersion, students remain members and will continue training on normal TSS weekend flying with their same FAA instructors. Once complete, students have the option of applying for additional scholarships through the STF foundation or become a regular club member to get their soaring pilot's license from the FAA.
Applicants must be able to attend the June sessions, be aged 14-22 years old at the start of the training, and applicants should be local to TSS (50 miles). See the attached photos for details.
