Learn the basics as well as a few tips & tricks in a fun, relaxed, interactive setting!

Every ballet dancer needs to know how to sew their own ribbons and elastic on their pointe shoes as it is an integral part to how a dancer dances on pointe. In this tutorial,
Aleksandra will help walk you through the simple basics of sewing both ribbons & elastic on your pointe shoes, threading the needle, and sewing a simple line stitch pattern. bring your sewing kits and shoes and lets have fun learning how to sew together! 🪡🧵

Items to bring:
Sewing kit (needle, thread, scissors)
Pointe shoes*
Ribbons
Elastic

*If you don’t have a pair to sew at the moment but would still like to learn and attend, bring your sewing kit and a loose piece of fabric to learn how to make a simple line stitch.
