Transparency: I have tried a lot of diets (Lifestyles) on my fitness journey. 2012-13 I was at my heaviest around 225lbs. I never missed the gym. Have always been consistent but my weight FOR ME was getting out of control.

I did not like how I looked at 225 so I lost the weight fast by running and practically starving myself. From there I started experimenting with food to find a lifestyle I could stick to!

Balance diet worked for me but the issue was my weight still fluctuated to the point that I had to constantly reel myself back in when I overdid carbs or got carried away on a cheat day. Keep in mind I’ve developed the discipline overtime to assure that wouldn’t be a problem.

With that said I train people for a living and not everyone can simply snap their fingers and say “I’m going to do this” and bounce right back. So the search for a more sustainable diet continued.

Which brings me to Today! I now follow the meat and fruit diet for several/ all of these reasons.
1. It’s sustainable and easy to follow (don’t have to count my calories)
2. My weight no longer fluctuates 10-12lbs now only around 2-5lbs depending on how much I choose to eat.
3. I’m never hungry like I use to be! Eating 1-2X per day rather than 4-6X per day.
4. Kids can do it with me (but don’t have to be as strict) teaching them a healthy lifestyle.
5. I still can enjoy cheat days without guilt or worry of falling off.

Doing this 30 for 30 to help others get control of their bad eating habits & finally reach the goals you set for yourselves.
