Min-MN Total Defense is a family-oriented dojo with a well-rounded approach to self-defense, drawing from a variety of martial arts, in a fun and uplifting environment. We strive to prepare our students in age appropriate ways for the challenges they may encounter in their everyday lives, such as bullying, harassment, and physical confrontations, as well as for “worst-case” scenarios of physical o

r sexual assault. We will utilize games, drills and other tools to educate and train our minds and bodies to respond to these situations calmly and decisively. Our students learn best when they train as a family. Any parent of a registered student age 16 or under may train with their child for no additional fee. We believe that everyone, regardless of age or ability, has something to gain from the techniques we teach. We will adapt these techniques to accommodate each student’s abilities with an emphasis on consistent growth in comfort level and skill in the martial arts. Most of all, our classes are uplifting, empowering, and fun!

Did you notice that our class times are different this fall? We divided it into 3 classes instead of 2, so we had to start earlier to fit them all in. Double check on your start time!

As the ranks get closer to black belt , training is more intense and acrobatic, but within the limits of what your body is capable of. We always encourage and uplift each other!

Training will continue at your belt level and in helping you to achieve the next belt rank. Attitudes, etiquette, and respect will also be discussed and practiced. A parent May train with your child for no additional fee, except testing.
