Next class is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, starting at 9:00 am in Clara City, Minnesota.

This course covers:

Fi****ms safety
Self-defense legalities under Minnesota law
Live fire training

Cost: $90

Class includes both classroom instruction and live fire qualification.

If you plan to bring your own firearm, bring at least 30 rounds of ammunition. Dress for the weather for the range portion.

MINNESOTA PERMIT TO CARRY CLASS Edgerton, MN 01-21-2023

This permit to carry class is an online/hybrid or web-conference option course. (Range instruction/qualification occurs at indoor shooting range 01-21-2023 10am)

This Minnesota permit to carry class is offered in online at your own pace or we will have a number of days set aside for live web-conference version. The range instruction and qualification portion will occur January 21st at 10am. There is no in person classroom for this one. The online materials are the same and taught in same fashion as in classroom

Basics of Pistol Shooting Course

Location Willmar MN

We will introduce students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA firearm courses or permit to carry class. This course is a two part series but not necessary to complete both unless you so desire. Thursday 04/15/2021 the night of the course will include training with dummy cartridges and air-soft. There is an opportunity to go to the range Friday 04/16/2021 from 6pm to 8pm to apply the skills learned from this course. Full course will be using NRA basics of pistol shooting course materials
