As instructors, our primary goal is to guide students of all ages to positive and well-rounded horsemanship. In our lessons, we seek to create a peaceful and fun-filled environment in which our students can

flourish. Whether your goals are down the trail or through the in gate we would like to help get you there. Our full service facility boasts two outdoors, and indoor, and a large round pen. GGT footing, heated viewing area, indoor heated wash stalls and more await you at our beautiful facility.

🐴✨ A RARE EQUESTRIAN OPPORTUNITY IS COMING TO CONNECTICUT! ✨🐴

Partners in Performance and Magnolia Equestrian Center are excited to welcome world-renowned veterinarian, master trainer, and author Dr. Gerd Heuschmann to Willington, Connecticut, October 9–11, 2026!

The weekend will focus on “Biomechanics of the Horse as an Athlete” and will include:

📖 Friday evening: Lecture Part 1
📖 Saturday morning: Lecture Part 2
🐎 Saturday afternoon: Four training rides
🐎 Sunday: Eight training rides

Dr. Heuschmann combines classical training principles with the science of equine biomechanics to help riders develop more natural, powerful, and sustainable movement in their horses.

Riders and auditors from ALL disciplines are welcome!

Bringing your horse? We are offering stalls and/or paddocks:

⭐ Day accommodations: $50
⭐ Overnight accommodations: $75

Copies of a current negative Coggins and rabies vaccination record are required for every horse.

Dr. Heuschmann’s books will also be available for signing during the event!

🐴 We’re Looking for a New Member of Our Barn Team! 🐴

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, horse-loving person to join our barn team. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working around horses and enjoys keeping a busy barn running smoothly.

Schedule:
🗓️ Sundays: 8 AM–4 PM
🗓️ Monday–Friday: Approximately 4 hours each day — hours are flexible
🗓️ Additional coverage: As needed, including occasional weekends/holidays

Responsibilities include:
🐎 Feeding and watering horses
🐎 Turning horses in and out
🐎 Cleaning stalls and maintaining a clean, organized barn
🐎 Handling horses safely and confidently
🐎 Cleaning and filling water buckets
🐎 Mucking paddocks and maintaining barn areas
🐎 Basic barn chores and upkeep
🐎 Helping with blankets, fly masks, supplements, and other daily horse-care routines as needed
🐎 Paying close attention to each horse and communicating any changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being

What we’re looking for:
❤️ Someone who genuinely enjoys being around horses
💪 Dependable, responsible, and willing to work hard
🐴 Comfortable handling horses safely
👀 Attentive to detail and able to follow individual horse-care instructions
🤝 Able to work independently and as part of a team
⏰ Flexible and willing to help with coverage when needed

Previous horse/barn experience is required.

Training options for young and green horses, tune-ups, conditioning, horses returning to work, and horses that benefit from a patient and experienced approach.
💪 REHAB & CONDITIONING
Experienced with horses needing additional care during rehabilitation, recovery, or return to work. Comfortable working alongside veterinarians, farriers, and other equine professionals to follow an established care or rehab plan.
